SARAJEVO, December 1 (FENA) - The Civil Protection Headquarters of the Republic of Croatia has issued a new decision on a temporary ban and restriction on crossing Croatian border crossings, which allows third-country nationals, including BiH, to enter Croatia only under certain conditions.
According to the new decision of the Headquarters, these travelers can enter the Republic of Croatia only if they are health workers, health researchers and care workers for the elderly, border workers, staff in the transport sector, diplomats, staff of international organizations and persons whose presence is necessary for the good functioning of these organizations, military and police personnel, humanitarian workers and civil protection personnel in performing their duties, the BiH Border Police announced.
Passengers in transit and persons traveling for educational purposes will also be allowed to enter, and seafarers and persons traveling for urgent personal/family reasons, business reasons or who have other economic interests will be allowed to enter the Republic of Croatia upon presentation of a negative PCR test for SARS CoV-2 that is not older than 48 hours, or upon arrival in the Republic of Croatia, they will have to perform testing for SARS-CoV-2 and stay in self-isolation and wait for the arrival of a negative result.
All of the above also applies to citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina who also have Croatian citizenship.
All foreign travelers who meet the conditions for entry into the Republic of Croatia are recommended to give prior notice using the entercroatia.mup.hr application and other conditions for entry from other countries can be found on the official website of the Ministry of the Interior of this country.
The temporary ban, i.e., the restriction of crossing the border crossings of the Republic of Croatia, enters into force today and will last until 15 December.
