SARAJEVO, December 2 (FENA) - SDA President Bakir Izetbegovićć, SDA Vice President Denis Zvizdić and SDA Secretary-General Halid Genjac talked today with SDA HNK President Edin Mušić, SDA Mostar City Board President Salem Marić and Mostar mayoral candidate dr. Zlatko Guzin.
The pre-election situation in Mostar was discussed, with an emphasis on the pre-election activities of the Coalition for Mostar 2020 and the Party of Democratic Action, which operates within this pro-Bosnian coalition.
The exceptional importance of the upcoming elections in Mostar was emphasized, primarily for the citizens of Mostar, who will have the opportunity to exercise their fundamental democratic right for the first time since 2008. At the same time, the importance of the elections in Mostar and for the overall state relations in Bosnia and Herzegovina was emphasized.
President Izetbegović expressed full support for the cantonal and city organization SDA, as well as the joint pro-Bosnian list led by Dr. Guzin, expressing full conviction that with a full degree of unity the pro-Bosnian factor can achieve political goals, namely the election of mayors and greater influence within the City council, the SDA BiH said.
