SARAJEVO, December 3 (FENA) - The High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina (HJPCBiH) has concluded today that unlawful recording and monitoring of judicial office holders violates their safety and impedes the secure environment for legal and independent decision-making.

This is one of the conclusions of the extraordinary session of the HJPC BiH held today, at which the members of this regulatory body discussed the current situation in this institution and the judiciary in general, with a focus on the responsibility of President Milan Tegeltija.

With the second conclusion, the HJPC has asked all the competent bodies, especially prosecutor offices, to act promptly and efficiently to the best of their knowledge, both in order to protect individuals and in order to protect the judicial system in general.

At this moment, the HJPC cannot voice its opinion on the responsibility of the President of the HJPC BiH on the basis of the content published in the media, because at this moment, its legality and authenticity cannot be confirmed, it is said in the conclusion.

"Considering that due to all the circumstances, the partnership between the HJPC BiH and its strategic international partners has been hindered, which significantly complicates the work of the HJPC BiH and the initiated projects, we urge the President of the HJPC to consider resigning," reads the last conclusion of today's session presented to the media by the incumbent President of the HJPC Milan Tegeltija.
