SARAJEVO, December 10 (FENA) - Having held a guilty plea agreement consideration hearing and a sentencing hearing, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has delivered and on 9 December 2020 publicly announced the judgment in the Zoran Delić case, finding the accused Zoran Delić guilty of the criminal offense of Tax Evasion or Fraud under Article 210(4) as read with Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of BiH (CC BiH), all in conjunction with Article 54 of the CC BiH. The Court sentenced him to one (1) year of imprisonment.
The accused was also fined with 2,000.00 KM, which he shall pay towards the budget of Bosnia and Herzegovina within 30 (thirty) days of the day the judgment becomes final. Pursuant to Articles 110 and 111 CC BiH, the ill-gotten gain in the amount of 55,854.00 KM shall be confiscated from the accused Zoran Delić, which the accused’s wife has already paid towards the BiH budget.
Pursuant to Article 56 CC BiH, the time the accused Zoran Delić spent in extradition custody, from 30 August 2020 to 29 October 2020, and in pre-trail custody under Court of BiH Decision from 29 October 2020 onwards, shall be credited towards his sentence of imprisonment.
