ĐURĐEVIK, December 18 (FENA) - Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry of the FBiH Nermin Džindić visited the 'Đurđevik' Coal Mine today, on the occasion of December 21, the Miners' Day.
As he emphasized, this year has been one of the best as far as the business of the mine in Đurđevik is concerned.
"This year was marked by success and positive results. We expect that this year, after years of bad management, will finally have a positive trend and results. The new reorganization, which was brought within the Concern of 'Elektroprivreda BiH', has not given the best results so far. We expect that, by March 2021, we will have cumulative results and a final position on the future mode of operation of all the mines, including the Đurđevik Mine.
What we have done this year (compared to the previous one), which has resulted in an increase of about 80,000 tons more of mined coal, is above all a better organization of production work. Of course, the effects of Elektroprivreda's investments and our own investments in equipment are already being felt, which has enabled us to have such results," Džindić emphasized.
It is planned that Minister Džindić, together with the FBiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić, visits the Banovići Coal Mine today, where he will put the transport system into operation.
