SARAJEVO, December 23 (FENA) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zoran Tegeltija believes that there is little to no chance that BiH will reach an agreement on an arrangement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) by January 8 and that IMF conditions in some elements are not in line with the objectives of that arrangement.
“It will not be the first time that an agreement with the IMF regarding the arrangement is not reached in the first round of negotiations. We have six open issues, one of which is with the Government of the Federation of BiH, and the rest are with Republika Srpska,” Tegeltija explained.
He pointed out that the negotiations were strenuous.
“Goals have been set to which no one had any objections, but which have nothing to do with the key goal, and that is the fight against Covid-19,” said Tegletija, adding that there is a possibility that negotiations will continue after January 8.
