Indictment confirmed in the Brane Petković case for war crime against civilians

SARAJEVO, January 7 (FENA) - The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed, on 23 November 2020, an indictment in the case of Brane Petković charging the accused with the commission of the criminal offense of War Crimes against Civilians under Article 173(1) a), b) and c) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC BiH), specifically: attack on civilian population and settlements, which results in the death, grave bodily injuries or serious damage to people’s health; indiscriminate attack harming the civilian population; killings, intentional infliction of severe physical or mental pain or suffering upon a person (torture), inhuman treatment, all as read with Article 21 of the CC BiH and Article 180(2) of the CC BiH.
