SARAJEVO, January 10 (FENA) - The Party of Democratic Action (SDA) warned today that the state authorities of the Republic of Serbia are hiding and protecting from prosecution a number of suspected genocide perpetrators, including two extremely high military officials in the RS Army hierarchy (VRS): Colonel Radoslav Janković, an officer in VRS Main Staff, and Lieutenant Colonel Svetozar Kosorić, Chief of the VRS Drina Corps Intelligence Department.
"Kosorić and Janković, who were indicted before the Court of BiH for genocide in Srebrenica, in the first instance verdict against General Ratko Mladić are listed, along with Mladić, Karadžić and others, as members of a joint criminal enterprise related to Srebrenica, and the only ones not yet processed, exclusively because the state authorities of Serbia have protected them and hid them from prosecution," warned the SDA.
The party reminds that, according to the information of the judicial authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at least nine people charged with genocide in Srebrenica are hiding in Serbia.
"The culmination of inhumanity towards the families of victims, and insincere attitude towards the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is that the Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić congratulates January 9, a holiday declared unconstitutional by the BiH Constitutional Court and the day the project that culminated in the Srebrenica genocide began. Serbia under Vučić's control hides and protects military and political officials, who have been charged with genocide before international and BiH courts," the SDA points out.
