SARAJEVO, January 12 (FENA) - Delegates of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina at today's session adopted the Bill on Temporary Measures in the work of judicial and other bodies of BiH during natural or other disasters, and the Proposal for Amendments to the Uniform Rules for drafting legal regulations in BiH institutions.

Also, the House also adopted the Report on the State of Radiation and Nuclear Safety for 2019, which was submitted by the State Regulatory Agency for Radiation and Nuclear Safety.

A delegate of the Bosniak People, Denis Bećirović (SDP), pointed out in the discussion that preceded the vote that neighboring Croatia decided to build nuclear waste disposal site near the border with BiH, which is why the experts have warned that 300,000 BiH citizens will be directly endangered by this decision.

Director of the State Regulatory Agency for Radiation and Nuclear Safety, Emir Dizdarević, stated that a legal and expert team for this problem was formed in October last year.

"Seismologists, geologists, civil engineers, professors and two international experts will monitor everything that Croatia is doing and ask that our experts be included in the determining of this micro-location and its future scope. Both teams will submit a report to the BiH Council of Ministers by the end of this month," Dizdarević explained.
