TC Prosecutor's Office: Five years in prison for former director of Konjuh

TUZLA, January 13 (FENA) - The Cantonal Court in Tuzla, according to the indictment of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Tuzla Canton, passed a first instance and non-final verdict for Eldin Brčaninović from Živinice, former director of Konjuh dd Živinice, for criminal offense of abuse of office and sentenced him to five years in prison.

Also, upon the finality of the verdict, Brčaninović is imposed a security measure of banning him from performing the duties or function of director in private or public companies, institutions or bodies in BiH for a period of 5 years.

The indictment charges Brčaninović that, as a director and responsible person in the company Konjuh Živinice, abused his authority, acted contrary to the interests of the service and Konjuh and contrary to the regulations that obliged him to operate legally, conscientiously and responsibly.

In the two actions charged against Brčaninović, it is stated that he obtained material gain in the amount of around 474,000 KM from the company BH Pelete doo Živinice, in which he was one of the founders and with which Konjuh had concluded business contracts, announced the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of the Tuzla Canton.
