Covid-19 confirmed in 209 people in BiH, with 19 deaths in the last 24 hours

SARAJEVO, January 22 (FENA) - In the last 24 hours, 1,523 samples were registered with the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 106 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.

New cases have been registered in all cantons in the Federation of BiH, according to the Institute.

A total of 385,909 samples have been tested so far, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 77,032 individuals.

Currently, 12,153 coronavirus-positive cases are active.

Five new deaths have been reported to the FBiH Public Health Institute in the past 24 hours.

As of today, the number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 2,411.

In the last 24 hours at the Institute of Public Health of the Republika Srpska, the University Clinical Center of the Republika Srpska, the University Hospital Foča and the hospitals of Sv. Vračevi in ​​Bijeljina and Sv. apostle Luke in Doboj and 596 laboratory samples were tested, and coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) was confirmed in 92 individuals.

In the last 24 hours, 14 deaths were reported to the entity Institute of Public Health, in which the presence of the coronavirus virus was confirmed.

So far, 39,366 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in that entity, and a total of 1,992 people have been confirmed to have been tested for coronavirus.

Today, 11 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in the Brčko District, and 58 samples were tested. Fourteen people have recovered, so there are currently 405 active cases.
