Tadić and Ukrainian Ambassador Kirilich discuss the Orthodox church relic affair

SARAJEVO, January 26 (FENA) - Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina Gordana Tadić talked with Ambassador of Ukraine to Bosnia and Herzegovina Vasyl Kirilich about topics of interest to judicial institutions of Ukraine and the activities of the Prosecutor's Office has taken in connection to the case of the Orthodox Church relic that Milorad Dodik gave as a present to Russian Foreign  Minister Sergey Lavrov. 

The Chief Prosecutor informed the Ambassador that several activities have already been undertaken within the competence of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, and that it was necessary for the institutions, from which international legal assistance was requested, to respond to the request as soon as possible.

Also, the meeting focused on the processing and work on the cases related to the participation of BiHnationals on the battlefields in Ukraine.

It was pointed out that the Prosecutor's Office of BiH and the Public Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Understanding in 2008 and that they have had good cooperation so far, which will be continued in the future.
