HoP of FBiH Parl. ends with the adoption of the Environmental Protection Law

SARAJEVO, January 28 (FENA) - The session of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina ended today after the adoption of a conclusion instructing the FBiH Ministry of Health to draft a rulebook on necessary conditions - appropriate qualifications, technical and other prerequisites for laboratories for conducting genetic research on the causes of infectious diseases dangerous to human beings.

Recently, both houses of the FBiH Parliament approved the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Budgets in FBiH, which should regulate the issue of financing of the City of Mostar, but it was passed with a fundamentally different amendment proposed by a delegate Lana Prlić, which is why the law needs to be harmonized between the Houses.

Today's completion of the staffing of the joint parliamentary commission at the session of the House of Peoples has opened the possibility for the harmonization of that law on financing of the City of Mostar.

The House of Peoples passed several laws, among them the Law on Environmental Protection in FBiH, which, according to Minister Edita Đapo, will bring better quality and standards to the area because, among other things, it requires control of environmental pollution at the source.
