MOSTAR, February 3 (FENA) - M.T. Abraham Group and their member, Aluminij Industry doo, have signed a strategic agreement with the Israeli company Big SC Ltd., which will provide financing and installation of power plants (solar panels) that use renewable energy sources in BiH, which will be partly within Aluminij Industry.
Big SC Ltd. has solar systems installed on the roofs of shopping malls in its own capacity of 11 megawatts in Israel, Aluminij Industry said.
In order to further expand the scope of the project and collaborate, M.T. Abraham Group intends to invest in renewable energy power plants, which will reportedly ensure a stable and affordable electricity supply that will meet the needs of the plant.
"Data on the number of sunny days in Herzegovina indicate significant sources of solar energy with an extremely favorable seasonal schedule, which provides an opportunity for its efficient and long-term use. Given the average number of sunny days in Mostar, more than 280, and the availability of large open areas, make solar energy for the production of electricity and heat a strategy to be implemented and realized. The construction of power plants that will use renewable energy sources will begin during the summer of 2021," said the Aluminij Industry.
