KONJIC, February 4 (FENA) - Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH Fadil Novalić, FBiH Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Nermin Džindić, Director of "FBiH Motorways" Adnan Terzić, Director of "Elektroprivreda" BiH Admir Andelija and Mayor of Konjic Osman Ćatić met today in Konjic and discussed current and upcoming projects, as well as future investments in the area of this local community.
As for the electricity activity of Elektroprivreda BiH, Minister Džindić stated that there are several projects, and today they especially talked about the wind farm "Bitovnja" near Konjic.
“It is a project of 50 megawatts of power, and the total investment is between 150 and 170 million KM. All measurements and preparations have been made in the previous period and this is one of the best economic projects in this part of Europe and we expect its continuation, i.e. after the detailed design comes the construction,” stated Džindić.
As for the part related to the industry, they discussed the expansion of the capacity of the company "Igman" Konjic, given that they are recording an increase in orders every day.
Director of the “FBiH Motorways" Adnan Terzic said that there are several very important projects in this area that need to be taken into account, and it refers to the highway on the corridor Vc.
“The European Commission financed the design of the section from Ovčara to the entrance to the Prenj tunnel, they chose the designer, we did the project task which can now be supplemented with all those elements that the mayor presented as the need of the municipality of Konjic. In the first place when we talk about the company "Igman", the shooting range they use, which runs parallel to the corridor, with a business zone that needs a connection to the corridor and all tourist facilities in the municipality of Konjic, construction of rest areas, etc.” said Terzić.
The Mayor of Konjic, Osman Ćatić, expressed his gratitude to all participants in the meeting, including representatives of the Association of Businessmen of that municipality.
