SARAJEVO, February 9 (FENA) - Minister of Science, Higher Education and Youth of the Sarajevo Canton Melika Husić-Mehmedović and Ambassador of the Republic of France to BiH Christine Toudic discussed today possible cooperation projects and stronger academic connections between France and BiH.
The interlocutors discussed the harmonization of the new law on higher education with the European legal framework, in which, according to Minister Husić-Mehmedović, the support of the international community and embassies of the European Union is expected.
Strengthening cooperation with the University of Sarajevo and the Faculty of Philosophy - Department of French, was also the topic of the meeting with Ambassador Toudic.
“Today we have shown mutual interest and the need to establish joint courses and studies, in order to meet the conditions for obtaining a dual degree, following the example of similar programs that already exist at the University of Sarajevo and private universities. There was talk about the possibility of launching at least one course or one program in French, which will offer a dual degree with some French universities,” said Minister Husić-Mehmedović, the Press Service of the Sarajevo Canton announced.
