Branch collective agreement for the energy industry in FBiH signed

SARAJEVO, February 10 (FENA) - FBiH Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Nermin Džindić, President of the FBiH Electricity Workers' Union Mevludin Bektić and Dubravko Pervan, as representative of the Independent Trade Union of Employees of Elektroprivreda HZHB Mostar, signed the Branch Collective Agreement for the Energy Industry in FBiH today.

At the press conference after the signing, Džindić stated that the contract was concluded for 36 months, and that the rights for about 6,600 workers remained at the level of the previous contract.

“In this way, the unions give full support to both power companies to get more functional power companies in the next 36 months through restructuring and implementation of this contract,” said Džindić.

Bektić pointed out that the contract differs from the previous one in that it was concluded for three years and that certain institutes can be changed in accordance with the expressed needs of employers and unions.
