SARAJEVO, February 22 (FENA) - School of Economics and Business in Sarajevo (EFSA) has been officially accredited by the institutional AACSB accreditation, awarded by the American accreditation organization The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (www.aacsb.edu), globally.
“EFSA is the first and only AACSB accredited higher education institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” EFSA said, adding that with this recognition, EFSA has maintained its position within the community of five percent of the highest quality higher education institutions in economics and business worldwide.
The EFSA was first accredited by AACSB in 2015, and the re-accreditation was preceded by a five-year process of improving key areas - education and learning, research and program / curriculum quality.
AACSB accreditation requires a continuous commitment to achieving the highest quality standards and continuous improvement of the programs offered by the higher education institution. Once accredited, the institution goes through a re-accreditation process every five years to ensure continued adherence to demanding AACSB quality standards.
This accreditation is especially important, because it enables the School of Economics in Sarajevo to cooperate with prestigious institutions outside Bosnia and Herzegovina, and represents a way of international quality and improvement of the process according to world standards, the School of Economics and Business in Sarajevo said.
