SARAJEVO, February 26 (FENA) - The House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted the proposals of the conclusions of MPs Nikola Lovrinović (HDZ), Snježana Novaković-Bursać (SNSD) and Adil Osmanović (SDA) that the House should task the BiH Public Procurement Agency and the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices of BiH to submit within seven days information on the necessary conditions, obstacles and all available solutions for the urgent procurement of coronavirus vaccines, which will be considered at the first regular session of the House.

Also, their conclusion to cancel the emergency session of the House scheduled for Saturday, February 27, was adopted.

At that session, the information of the Public Procurement Agency of BiH and the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices of BiH on the necessary conditions, obstacles and all available solutions for the urgent procurement of coronavirus vaccines were to be discussed.

Our Party MP Damir Arnaut proposed this as a new item on the agenda on behalf of a group of MPs, within which it was requested to convene an emergency session of the House where the directors of these agencies would submit the requested information within three days.

Arnaut's proposed conclusions were not adopted, including that the directors of these agencies attend an emergency session of the House on Saturday and each present comprehensive information on whether the current legal framework allows direct procurement of coronavirus vaccines from the Council of Ministers, entity or cantonal governments directly from the manufacturer.
