SARAJEVO, February 26 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović spoke by phone with the candidate for the new High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina Christian Schmidt.
The interlocutors discussed the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with an emphasis on the functionality of BiH institutions and progress on BiH's European and NATO path.
BiH Presidency member Džaferović stressed the importance of the OHR's role under the Dayton Peace Agreement, according to which Bosnia and Herzegovina, due to the possibility of blockades, needs stronger support from the international community through coordinated action between Washington and Brussels, the Press Service of the BiH Presidency Press said.
