Covid-19 confirmed in 448 people in BiH, with eight deaths in the last 24 hours

SARAJEVO, February 28 (FENA) - In the past 24 hours, 1,692 samples were registered with the Public Health Institute of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, of which 383 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.

New cases have been registered in all cantons in the Federation of BiH, except in Posavina Canton.

A total of 451,282 samples have been tested so far, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 85,540 individuals.

As of today, 77,222 patients have recovered in the Federation of BiH. Currently, 5,643 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 are active.

In the past 24 hours, four new deaths were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH. As of today, the number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 2,675, the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH announced.

In the last 24 hours in the Institute of Public Health of the Republika Srpska, the University Clinical Center of the Republika Srpska, the University Hospital in Foča and the Hospital Sv. Vračevi in ​​Bijeljina, 468 laboratory samples were tested, and coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) was confirmed in 64 people.

In the last 24 hours, four deaths have been reported to the Republika Srpska Institute of Public Health in which the presence of coronavirus has been confirmed.

So far, 43,219 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and a total of 2,244 people have died in whom a coronavirus test has been confirmed. In Republika Srpska, 36,104 people have recovered from coronavirus so far, and a total of 200,899 people have been tested.

Today, a new case of coronavirus infection was registered in the Brčko District, and six samples were tested. Eight patients recovered.
