SARAJEVO, March 1 (FENA) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić will pay an official visit to Sarajevo tomorrow and bring a certain amount of vaccines that Serbia will donate to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
According to the information from the Klix.ba portal, the Minister of Health of the Republic of Serbia, Zlatibor Lončar, will be with Vučić in the delegation. They should meet with all three members of the BiH Presidency. Information about Vučić's visit has not yet been officially confirmed.
For now, it is not known exactly how many vaccines will be donated tomorrow, but it is assumed that it is a donation of 5,000 doses that were promised to the Federation of BiH, but also another part for the Republika Srpska.
A few days ago, the FBiH government accepted the offered help of Serbia in the fight against coronavirus, i.e. five thousand AstraZeneca vaccines. Serbia previously donated 5,000 doses of Russian Sputnik V vaccine to RS.
It should be reminded that the recent meeting of the Presidency of BiH, entity prime ministers and chairman of the Council of Ministers Zoran Tegeltija sent thanks to the Republic of Serbia, which will donate five thousand vaccines intended for the Federation of BiH through the Council of Ministers of BiH.
According to Klix.ba, Vučić will stay in the capital of BiH during the day, considering that he plans to return to Belgrade in the afternoon.
