SARAJEVO, March 5 (FENA) - The Government of the Federation of BiH held an emergency telephone session today and adopted information on today's meeting of the Prime Minister of FBiH with the President of the Health Committee of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, representatives of the FBiH Public Health Institute, FBiH Ministry of Health, cantonal prime ministers and cantonal health ministers.
The Government also adopted information on the epidemiological situation of COVID-19 in the Federation of BiH on March 3, 2021, which has significantly deteriorated and with a tendency to further deteriorate. Accordingly, the cantonal governments will take all necessary actions to combat the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
It was concluded today that the FBiH Government will form an ad hoc team for negotiations with vaccine manufacturers, in which representatives of the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, the FBiH Ministry of Health, the Health Committee of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, and Sarajevo, Tuzla and Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, as well as Transparency International in Bosnia and Herzegovina, will be appointed.
They are invited to appoint their representatives to the ad hoc team and submit their names no later than Monday, March 8, 2021, by noon, the Press Service of the FBiH Government announced.
