Borrell - Turković: EU remains a key partner of BiH in fighting the pandemic

SARAJEVO, March 11 (FENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bisera Turković last evening in Brussels spoke with the Vice President of the European Commission and High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the European Union (EU) Josep Borrell.

They discussed the COVAX mechanism, the problems that have arisen in Bosnia and Herzegovina when it comes to the procurement of vaccines, and the migrant crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which has mainly affected only two cantons in our country.

Minister Turković and EU High Representative Borrell also discussed the fulfillment of the 14 priorities from the Opinion of the European Commission, and other important issues for BiH.

Borell pointed out that the European Union remains a key partner of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, but also in terms of the progress of our country towards fulfilling its goals and obligations.

Minister Turković is on a two-day visit to Brussels, where she is meeting with numerous European officials to discuss the possibilities for resolving the problems that BiH is currently facing, stated the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH.
