LIVNO, March 17 (FENA) - The newly appointed Chief of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Regional Coordinator for the Western Balkans, Laura Lungarotti, paid her first official visit to Canton 10 on Wednesday.
In talks with Cantonal Prime Minister Ivan Vukadin and cantonal ministers, Lungarotti stressed that as the newly appointed Chief of the IOM in BiH, her current priority is to meet with representatives of the authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including the representatives of the authorities in Canton 10/Livno Canton.
Lungarotti listed as the main goals of the IOM Mission in BiH the projects that the organization has implemented and is implementing in our country, and pointed out the current situation and problems related to refugee migration.
She stated that this organization has so far implemented several successful projects in this canton and added that they are still available for cooperation on projects that would be important for the entire community.
Ministers in the Government of Canton 10 spoke about the projects they are trying to implement within their departments, announced the Press Service of the Canton 10.
