SARAJEVO, March 18 (FENA) - Chairman and members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik, Željko Komšić and Šefik Džaferović received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Nikola Selaković.
"A two-day visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia was an opportunity to discuss the overall bilateral relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia, which have been intensified, especially recently, it was stated at the beginning of the meeting.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia conveyed the greetings from the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, to the Presidency of BiH and confirmed his interest in following the trend of intensifying and improving bilateral relations between the two countries.
It was stated that Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia showed a good example of regional cooperation during the pandemic.
Members of the Presidency of BiH reiterated their gratitude for the assistance of the Republic of Serbia to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the fight against the pandemic and for the donated vaccines against coronavirus.
They discussed the importance of infrastructural connecting and the implementation of the Belgrade-Sarajevo-Belgrade motorway project, as well as illegal migration, where the need for continuous exchange of information on the situation regarding migrants and the establishment of better coordination was emphasized.
Members of the Presidency of BiH and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia expressed interest in resolving open bilateral issues between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Serbia, emphasizing the importance of resolving the open issue of the interstate border between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Serbia at the highest level, with the aim of signing an appropriate interstate agreement, it is said in the statement from the BiH Presidency.
