SARAJEVO, March 19 (FENA) - The trial of FBiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić and others in the "Ventilators" case continued today in the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Prosecution charged Novalić and others with violating the law in the procurement of 100 ventilators worth 10,530,000 KM.

In addition to Novalić and Solak, FBiH Finance Minister Jelka Milićević and Fikret Hodžić, the owner of the company "Srebrena Malina", which imported ventilators for the needs of the FBiH Civil Protection Administration, are also accused.

Novalić, Solak and Hodžić are charged with conspiracy to commit criminal offenses in connection with acts of abuse of office or authority, receiving a reward or other form of benefit for trading in influence.

Vasvija Vidović, an attorney of the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH Fadil Novalić, after today's trial, stated that the Prosecution witness, in her opinion, "was very good from the point of view of the defense".

“He clarified the whole situation, the legal framework for international standards and our applicable laws. Although he was called as a Prosecution witness, this is a very important witness for us, given that we know what the indictment is. We heard his testimony, I would not comment on that anymore, but it is a court procedure that is active,” said Vidović.
