SARAJEVO, March 28 (FENA) - The Government of the Republic of Poland has provided Bosnia and Herzegovina with medical and protective equipment for the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Polish donation to Bosnia and Herzegovina was delivered at the Sarajevo International Airport yesterday, where valuable equipment was handed over.

Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Bosnia and Herzegovina Jaroslaw Lindenberg pointed out that Poland has donated protective equipment for medical institutions in BiH, including 20,000 protective masks FFP2 and FFP3, 20,000 protective gloves and 800 protective uniforms, and 1,000 antigen tests.

Minister of Security of BiH, Selmo Cikotić, expressed his gratitude to the Polish people, the Government and officials of the Republic of Poland on behalf of institutions and BiH citizens, emphasizing that this friendly country provided assistance to Bosnia and Herzegovina for the third time during the Covid pandemic.

“The fact that both the state of Poland and the Polish people are significantly burdened by the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic, makes this assistance even more valuable and significant,” said Cikotić, expressing gratitude to Ambassador Lindenberg and his team, who are strongly engaged in this plan.
