SARAJEVO, March 30 (FENA) - Deputies of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina today supported the principles of the Draft Law on amendments to the Law on Civil Procedure before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, proposed by the BiH Council of Ministers.
The principles of the Draft Law on amendments to the Law on Public Procurement, which was also proposed by the Council of Ministers of BiH, and whose adoption is one of the 14 priorities for obtaining candidate status for Bosnia and Herzegovina, were also supported.
Today, the deputies discussed the Proposal of the conclusion on the establishment of the interministerial working group for the preparation of proposals for amendments to the election legislation of BiH, proposed by the Joint Collegium of both Houses.
Considering that several proposals were made during the discussion regarding this conclusion, the deputies accepted the agreed proposal of the SDA, SNSD and HDZ BiH caucuses not to discuss these proposals as well as the proposal of the conclusion on the formation of the Interministerial Working Group, but to forward all proposed conclusions to the Joint Collegium for consideration and discussion.
The Priority Plan for the parliaments in BiH for accelerating the process of European integration was also adopted.
Among other things, deputies accepted the conclusion to task the Ministry of Security of BiH to prepare information and a plan for the establishment of a functional video surveillance system at all border crossings within 30 days.
A parliamentary initiative was also accepted asking the BiH Council of Ministers to establish the 'Denis Mrnjavac' award in memory of him and all other girls and boys victims of violence.
The deputies gave their consent for the ratification of several international agreements and treaties, after which today's session of the House ended.
