SARAJEVO, March 31 (FENA) - Head of the EU Delegation to BiH Johann Sattler handed over a donation today to the General Hospital 'Prim. dr. Abdulah Nakaš' in a form of two ventilators worth 79,000 KM, which was financed by the European Union within the framework of assistance to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
The donated ventilators were manufactured in Germany, brand Drager, and the purchase of this modern equipment was done through the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) BiH.
Director of the General Hospital, prof. dr. Ismet Gavrankapetanović thanked Ambassador Sattler and the EU on behalf of patients and employees.
“Ventilators will be installed in the Covid department of this health facility. It will be good for us to continue to provide quality health care to our patients,” said prof. Gavrankapetanović.
He once again called on the citizens to be patient and respect the recommended protective measures.
