SARAJEVO, April 1 (FENA) - The Government of the Federation of BiH issued a Decision on prescribing a measure of direct price control for certain basic food items and other products by setting a maximum margin, determining that there are conditions for prescribing a measure of direct price control in the Federation of BiH.
As a measure of direct price control, the Government has prescribed the determination of the maximum amount of margins in trade for certain basic food items and other products.
Direct control measures relate to products under the jurisdiction of the FBiH, cantons, cities and municipalities prescribed by the provisions of the Law on Price Control, as well as other food items, basic hygiene and other products sold by all participants in the supply chain, i.e., companies and other legal and natural persons who manufacture and deal with wholesale and retail trade.
Legal and private entities are obliged to determine and apply margins so that they do not exceed the maximum amount of six percent in wholesale and maximum amount of eight percent at the purchase price in retail.
Having determined that there are conditions for prescribing a measure of direct price control in the FBiH, today the FBiH Government issued a Decision determining the maximum margins in trade for petroleum products (calculated prices), the FBiH Government Office for Public Relations announced.
