BH-Gas files a criminal complaint for changing the gas transport route

FENA Muhamed Hadžibegić

SARAJEVO, April 5 (FENA) - Representatives of BH-Gas announced today that, after Energoinvest's decision to change the gas transport route and prevent BH-Gas from performing its tasks, they filed a criminal complaint with the FBiH Police Administration.

Acting director Jasmin Salkić stated at a press conference in Sarajevo that documentation on the illegal activities of Energoinvest had been submitted to the FBiH Police Administration, emphasizing that the gas supply system is managed by Transportgas Serbia and Gas Promet Pale as of April 1.

He added that, in addition, they sent the documentation to the FBiH Police Administration that neither the Hungarian FGSZ nor Transportgas Serbia accepted Energoinvest's argument that the contracts on the old transport route be terminated due to "force majeure", which means that they are valid with foreign transporters and leases were made on these systems, but Energoinvest changed the transport route despite that fact.

Salkić pointed out that further events were related to endangering the security of supply because Energoinvest expelled BH-Gas from the business of nomination and gas orders, so that there was a drop in pressure in the transport system.

“Today, BH-Gas will supplement the criminal report with evidence of events on the transport system,” said Salkić.
