SARAJEVO, April 9 (FENA) - Radio-Television of the Tuzla Canton (TC RTV) despite the economic situation that does not benefit anyone due to the pandemic, is trying to invest in improving the technical quality of its program and working conditions.
Today, on the occasion of a ceremonial launch of broadcasting in HD resolution, which has enabled the broadcasting of high-resolution media content, a ceremony was held attended by the President of the TC Assembly Slađan Ilić and the Cantonal Prime Minister Kadrija Hodžić, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth. The value of the equipment is about 150,000 KM.
"What we achieve with this project is that we are catching up with global standards and trends, that as much as we can, we keep up with the latest technology, and that we, in the region of the Tuzla Canton, the same as citizens in developed countries, have access to these technologies," said President of the Assembly of the TC Slađan Ilić.
He pointed out that the success is, therefore, that much greater, given the situation we are in, and congratulated TC RTV for this success.
The Prime Minister of the Tuzla Canton, Kadrija Hodžić, also congratulated this TV house on this valuable project, which in a significant way brings this media house closer to global media standards.
"This is very important to us at this moment, not only because the image quality increases but also because we are opening up space for improving the program in general," he stated.
The Cantonal Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth said that they will continue to support the work of TC RTV, adding that this success is another confirmation that this media outlet has proved and confirmed its significant role during the pandemic.
General Manager of TC RTV, Kasim Softić, pointed out that there are numerous benefits of switching to this standard of broadcasting and operation in general. In addition to contributing to the better quality of the produced and broadcast content, the new equipment will provide better working conditions for the employees of the Tuzla Canton RTV.
