Incomplete remains of at least two more persons exhumed in Sarajevo

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, April 12 (FENA) - Incomplete remains of at least two more persons were exhumed today in Avde Palića Street, in Sarajevo's Zabrđe neighborhood, Novi Grad municipality.

These remains were found on Friday, during construction works on the site.

Last Thursday, the exhumation of mortal remains, suspected of belonging to at least two victims of the past war, was carried out at the same site, said the Institute for Missing Persons of BiH.

After the exhumation, the remains were transferred to the premises of the cemetery "Sveti Marko" and its mortuary, where the forensic examination will be performed this week in order to determine whether the remains originate from the previous war or are older remains.
