Turković speaks with US Acting Assistant Secretary of State Phillip Reeker

SARAJEVO, April 15 (FENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bisera Turković spoke today with Acting Assistant Secretary of State of the United States of America Phillip Reeker.

Reeker officially informed Minister Turković about the decision of US President Joe Biden to withdraw the US troops from the mission in Afghanistan by September 11 this year.

The Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina are part of an international coalition and have been participating in a peacekeeping mission in this country with a limited number of soldiers for years.

Reeker thanked Bosnia and Herzegovina for the partnership and contribution of our country to this mission.

Minister Turković expressed content that BiH is also one of the partner countries that have contributed to peacebuilding and stabilization within the international mission, stated the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH..
