SARAJEVO, April 15 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović said today, commenting on a recent controversial non-paper sent to Brussels about the redrawing of borders in the region and ideas about the disintegration of BiH, that it was a barbaric and anti-civilization attempt and that the BiH institutions will "respond as they are able to respond".
"We will fight against these attempts and attacks. Apart from our strength and power that we have in BiH, I am counting on a benevolent civilized world. The civilized world should oppose what the barbarians are trying to do. I don't know where these papers came from. I saw that it existed and it was a sufficient alarm signal. We will do everything to expose it. And we will certainly mark those who are behind this as the enemies of BiH," said Džaferović.
He commented that "radical, retrograde circles in Europe are doing this because they are uncivilized."
"They want chaos and do not wish well to others. I don't know what other reason could be that someone could behave in this anti-civilizational way. If the whole world would accept what the retrograde forces represent, then there is no future for the world as such," said Džaferović.
Asked whether this was happening as a kind of pressure regarding the amendments to the Election Law, Džaferović said that "there is no pressure that will force us to do something contrary to the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights."
