SARAJEVO, April 18 (FENA) - The final preparations for the mass immunization of the citizens of the Sarajevo Canton against coronavirus, which should start on Monday, April 19, are underway at the Juan Antonio Samaranch Olympic Hall also known by the name Zetra Hall.
The hall site has undergone renovation and will have 30 vaccination points where 2,000 citizens will be able to be vaccinated on a daily basis.
There will be five administrators at the entrance who will scan healthcare ID cards and people who do not have them will be able to use an ID card or other document containing the Unique Master Citizen Number, known as JMBG.
In the first phase of vaccination, people older than 75 should be vaccinated, then people older than 65, and the continuation of immunization will follow when the Sarajevo Canton has a sufficient number of vaccines for that.
As FENA has learned at the Health Insurance Institute of the Sarajevo Canton, so far, 61,417 people have applied for immunization in the canton.
