SARAJEVO, April 28 (FENA) - Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sifet Podžić received today representatives of the company "Nurol Makina" from the Republic of Turkey, consisted of Deputy Secretary-General Anil Karel and Hakan Arisut, Director of Business Development.
The aim of the visit was for representatives of Turkey's military industry to gain insight and assess the situation and needs of the Armed Forces of BiH, in the context of signing the Agreement on Military-Financial Cooperation between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of the Republic of Turkey, bearing in mind the 2017-2027 Armed Forces Development and Modernization Plan.
It is planned that the representatives of this company, together with the Deputy Minister of Defense of BiH for Resource Management Mirko Okolić, visit some locations of the AF BiH, in order to gain insight into the existing infrastructure and needs of the MoD and the AF BiH.
On Tuesday, the delegation from the Republic of Turkey held a presentation of its products for the representatives of the Armed Forces of BiH at the Armed Forces Hall in Sarajevo, stated the Ministry of Defense of BiH.
