BiH PA HoR appoints members of working group to amend the Election Law

SARAJEVO, April 28 (FENA) - The House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted today a conclusion on the establishment of the Interdepartmental Working Group for the preparation proposals for amendments to the BiH Election Law, proposed by the joint collegium of both houses of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly.
 
The proposed conclusion envisages that one representative of each caucus in the House of Representatives, one representative of each caucus in the House of Peoples, and three representatives of the Council of Ministers of BiH be appointed to the Interdepartmental Working Group.

The proposed conclusion envisages that during the process, the Interdepartmental Working Group for Amendments to the Election Law of BiH, if necessary, will consult experts from the non-governmental sector, the Central Election Commission of BiH, the academic community and others.
 
Today, the House of Representatives appointed Alma Čolo from the SDA caucus, Dženan Đonlagić from the Democratic Front caucus, Damir Arnaut from Our Party-Independent Bloc caucus, Nenad Stevandić from the Serb club caucus, Branislav Borenović from the PDP-DNS caucus, Borjana Krišto from the HDZBiH-HNS caucus, Saša Magazinović from the SDP BiH caucus and Snježana Novaković-Bursać from the SNSD caucus as members of the Interdepartmental Working Group from that house.
