SARAJEVO, May 4 (FENA) - After a meeting of the Regional Director of the World Health Organization (WHO) for Europe Hans Kluge with the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Minister of Civil Affairs Ankica Gudeljević, entity prime ministers and entity ministers of health, Minister Gudeljević held a separate meeting with Kluge.
At the beginning of the meeting, a two-year cooperation agreement was signed between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the WHO Regional Office for Europe 2020/2021.
Kluge and Gudeljević discussed the cooperation so far, as well as the next steps such as the creation of "smart cards", the creation of a database on the number of vaccinated and reporting it to the WHO.
Kluge thanked Minister Gudeljević for the reception and expressed satisfaction for extremely good communication and very successful work during the entire pandemic with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH.
He added that "the Ministry did everything in its competence", and shared the common intention with Minister Gudeljević that the best should be done for the people.
Minister Gudeljević announced three pillars of further activities, including visits to the entity ministries of health and public health institutes, activities related to smart cards and the start of activities related to the mental health of BiH residents, given the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic, announced the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH.
