TC Government establishes Anti-corruption and Quality Control Office

TUZLA, May 4 (FENA) - The Government of Tuzla Canton adopted the Decree on the Establishment of the Anti-corruption and Quality Control Office of the Tuzla Canton.
This Decree establishes an institutional body for the first time, which will fight corruption and work on preventing corruption, said at a press conference after the session of the Government of Tuzla Canton, Minister of Justice and Administration of Tuzla Canton, Una Harčin.
This form of the Office was formed on the model of the same Office in the Sarajevo Canton, which is a good practice, Harčin points out, adding that TC has formed a body for the first time, which will carry out activities to prevent and prevent corruption.
Head of the office will be selected through a public competition, and one of the conditions will be previous experience in the fight against corruption.
The Ministry of Justice and Administration of the Tuzla Canton will normatively establish the work of the Office, in which civil servants will be deployed internally.
The Office will maintain a number of registers such as the e-register of public procurement, the e-register of public sector employees, the e-register of subsidies and incentives as well as other registers.
