SARAJEVO, May 5 (FENA) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zoran Tegeltija talked today in Sarajevo with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu about current political and economic issues and further development of bilateral relations, focusing on the economy and combating the effects of the pandemic in BiH.
Tegeltija thanked Minister Çavuşoğlu for Turkey's balanced approach to Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is confirmed by the recent opening of the Consulate General in Banja Luka, in addition to those previously opened in Sarajevo and Mostar.
Tegeltija also pointed out the importance of Turkey's role in the construction of the Belgrade-Sarajevo motorway, as well as the importance of the Trilateral Balkan Summit and the Trilateral Trade Committee between Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Turkey.
It was stated that Turkey is interested in signing a large number of bilateral agreements that are in the process, and they relate, among other things, in the field of military industry, security, police training, investment protection and water management, the BiH Council of Ministers said.
