SARAJEVO, May 5 (FENA) - BiH Presidency Member Šefik Džaferović, commenting on the current behavior of the Republika Srpska authorities, replied today that these are activities that actually lead to the abolition of the RS.
“What they are doing leads to that,” he stated regarding the activities in the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska and the initiative which states the possibility of the Serbian people for self-determination if the Federation of BiH does not satisfy the invitation to talks on possible solutions for BiH.
Džaferović points out that the political activities of the smaller BiH entity actually undermine the Dayton Peace Agreement as the treaty that created the entity, and that Bosnia and Herzegovina, a state with a centuries-old history, has existed much earlier and would exist without Dayton, unlike the entities.
BiH Presidency Member Željko Komšić, who was also asked to comment on the current actions of Republika Srpska government officials, described Milorad Dodik as a man who demonstrates political arrogance and strength only locally, while behaving drastically differently in front of strong partners from Washington for example or even from Brussels.
Komšić compared Dodik's political activities to the behavior of a 'bad intelligent child' who knows how to dose his behavior depending on who he is talking to.
