SARAJEVO, May 10 (FENA) - The second round of vaccination of the citizens of the Sarajevo Canton started today at the Zetra Olympic Hall.
A member of the Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health of the SC, Arman Šarkić, stated that 5,282 doses of vaccines are available, mostly from the manufacturers Sinovac and Sinopharm, and Pfizer vaccines should arrive during the day.
"Citizens older than 75 who did not have the opportunity to be immunized in the first round will now have a chance, as well as patients on hemodialysis, those with transplanted organs, and oncology patients," said Šarkić.
He pointed out that each vaccine is of good quality and that it will be indicated which vaccine the insured person should receive.
In the first round of vaccination, 12,800 doses of vaccine were available in the Sarajevo Canton, and between 1,500 and 1,700 people were vaccinated daily at the Zetra Hall.
Some 100,000 doses of vaccines should arrive in the canton at the end of May or the beginning of June.
