SARAJEVO, May 11 (FENA) - A delegation of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina led by Assistant Minister for International Cooperation Zoran Šajinović realized today in the House of the AF BiH in Sarajevo the activity of Staff Talks with representatives of the Armed Forces of the French Republic.
The delegation of the French Armed Forces consisted of the Chief of the Euro-Atlantic Administration of the General Staff of the Army of the Republic of France, Brigadier General Bruno Foussard, Military Attaché Brigadier Laurent Vonderscher and Desk Officer for BiH Major Nicolas M'Bodj.
Some of the topics of the staff talks were the defense and security policy of BiH, the path of BiH towards Euro-Atlantic integration and the engagement of the AF BiH in peacekeeping operations.
The visiting delegation presented the challenges of the Republic of France in the field of security and defense in the region, as well as the French view of the process accession to the European Union and NATO.
"Both sides agreed that the Republic of France is one of the key partners of our country on the path to NATO and the European Union and that this support would be continued, said the Ministry of Defense of BiH.
