SARAJEVO, May 17 (FENA) - A delegation of the Commission for Interparliamentary Cooperation of the Parliament of Indonesia visited the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina today, where they met with the Friendship Group for Asia headed by Lazar Prodanović.

As Prodanović said after the meeting, BiH and Indonesia are friendly countries without any open issues.

"We want to work together to strengthen parliamentary diplomacy, both in the interest of BiH and in the interest of the Republic of Indonesia. We talked about numerous issues, cooperation in the fields of education, tourism, economy, and cooperation in international associations," said Prodanović.

He hopes BiH will liberalize the visa regime for Indonesian citizens to speed up cooperation between the two countries.

The Chairman of the Commission for Inter-parliamentary cooperation of the Parliament of Indonesia, Fadli Zon, emphasizes that they also talked about cooperation in the fight against coronavirus and that he expects that the cooperation will be continued in international forums.

"We are friendly countries, and Indonesia has shown that by building the Istiklal Mosque in Sarajevo. We look forward to your visit to Indonesia," concluded Zon.
