SARAJEVO, May 17 (FENA) - Chairman of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bakir Izetbegović received today in a farewell visit the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia Zorica Bukinac.
The two officials agreed that the economic cooperation between the two countries is good, but that there is room for its improvement. They also discussed the improvement of cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Slovenia in the fields of culture and education, which was significantly contributed by bilateral agreements signed between the two countries.
They discussed the possibilities of accelerating the integration processes of Bosnia and Herzegovina into the European Union.
Bukinac reminded that Slovenia is taking over the presidency of the Council of the European Union in July 2021, and in that context, she expressed full support for Bosnia and Herzegovina's European path.
Bukinac especially emphasized the high level of security cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Slovenia.
