BRUSSELS / SARAJEVO, May 19 (FENA) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zoran Tegeltija talked today in Brussels with the Standing Rapporteur of the European Parliament for BiH and the Vice President of the EPP Paulo Rangel.
At the meeting, at which the European future of BiH was discussed, Chairman Tegeltija informed the rapporteur for BiH in the EP Rangel about the activities carried out by the Council of Ministers with the aim of faster and more efficient implementation of reform processes, as the main precondition for BiH's European path.
On this occasion, Chairman Tegeltija pointed out that BiH, despite the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic, has shown commitment to European integration and made progress in meeting 14 key priorities, pointing to the need for greater EU support in obtaining candidate status.
During the conversation, Chairman Tegeltija thanked the rapporteur Rangel for his engagement in recognizing the efforts and showing the progress of BiH, despite the difficult circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the BiH Council of Ministers announced.
