SARAJEVO, May 21 (FENA) - FBiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić said that today's signing of the Annex to the Agreement on transfer of ownership for the reconstruction, adaptation and construction of new accompanying facilities of the Blažuj Terminal exchanged ownership over the mentioned terminals and the Maršal Hotel between the Governments of the Federation of BiH and the Sarajevo Canton.
At the press conference, after the signing, he explained that this ended the activity that lasted 12 years between the two governments.
“It is very important that the Government of FBiH got what is its legal obligation, and that is that the Federation of BiH must have reserves of oil and petroleum products for the period of at least three months,” said Novalić.
He pointed out that the signing of the annex to the agreement enabled the reconstruction of the Maršal Hotel.
Prime Minister of the Sarajevo Canton Edin Forto stated that he is satisfied that the long-standing problem, which both prime ministers inherited from previous government convocations, had been resolved.
“The Blažuj Terminal projects are of public importance and the SC Government would never hamper investments in such a strategic project,” said Forto.
He announced the privatization of the Maršal Hotel because it is in the interest of the SC Government to develop the private sector.
