SARAJEVO, May 23 (FENA) - A rally of support for the Palestinian people was held on the plateau across from the Sarajevo City Hall, and several hundred BiH citizens sent a message of peace, but also a request that those responsible for killing children, women, residents of Gaza and Palestine be prosecuted before the international courts of justice.
Addressing the gathering, Palestinian Ambassador to BiH Rezeq Namoora criticized the US President, the United Nations, and the international community for supporting Israel, saying "it has the right to defend itself," and asked from whom is Israel defending itself? Are they defending from those who are trying to protect their houses, which are obviously being destroyed, from those who are defending their mosques from being demolished, from those whose territory is being taken away?
“But the Palestinian people are not alone and we are sending support to the Palestinian people from the heart of Sarajevo, European Jerusalem. For our martyrs: children, women, brothers, we will seek justice,” said, among other things, Ambassador Namoora.
Support for the Palestinian people from Sarajevo was also sent by Avdo Hebib, President of the Bosnia and Herzegovina-Palestine Friendship Association, Turkish and Iranian Ambassadors to BiH, Sadik Babur Girgin and Gholamreza Alimohammad Ghelichkhan, and organizers of the Palestinian Community in BiH and its President Majed Maarouf, Association for Culture, Education and Sports AKOS and the Association "Young Muslims".
